We’ve done a whole heap of lovely builds recently, here’s a few to whet your appetite.
Brother Classic Track
These builds always turn out nice, and this is no exception, with a serious nod to the classic styling of the 70s, with gumwall tyres, brown accents courtesy of Brooks, and Dia Compe traditional style brake levers.
Those Dia Compe brake levers, in all their glory, with Brooks cotton tape.
Brooks Cambium saddle in brown, perfectly matches the bar tape.
Some lovely little details are included, like these Cinelli toe cages.
Salsa 2010 Casseroll
This was resprayed, and had a full rebuild, converting it from a single speed into a geared bike. Dura Ace downtube shifters were converted to handlebar shifters using Paul Thumbies, plus other nice parts included some CNC Tektro brake levers, a new old stock Ultegra 6600 chinset, and a front basket.
Enik Road Build
This Enik frame was one of the collection we had in the shop. The brief was to build something that looked classic, but rode like a modern bike; so Campag’s Veloce groupset in silver was an obvious choice. Silver Ambrosio wheels, Panaracer gumwall tyes, and silver bars, stem and seatpost completed the look.
Puch 531c Fixed Gear
Another frame from the Fitzrovia collection, with a brief to build a good value fixed wheel bike, but could possible be turned into a geared bike in the future. The frame itself is lovely, and quite light for a 64cm! Mostly black parts, and Ambrosio wheels and cranks keep it looking subtle.
